awakening

<sub>all i wanted all my life
was to open up my eyes
but now it seems im flying blind

all i wanted was to wake
and escape from what is fake
but now i cannot see my fate

awakenings not what it used to be
i dont know what it means
i dont know how to be

awakening is so much different now
that youre gone away
and i feel left out

feeling haunted all my life
then one day it passed me by
then it came my time to die

then all i wanted was to wake
and make a promise that wont break
just like God did when he created life

awakenings not for the faint of heart
it shakes you to your soul
it tears your life apart

awakening into another life
to play another role
to see another side of creation</sub>
